Product Description

Asbestos rubber sheet 

is also known as compressed asbestos fiber sheet( CAF joint sheet for short ) , paronite (Former Soviet countries typically call this name) and asbestos jointing sheet.

It is a board and sheet sealing product made from asbestos fiber, synthetic rubber & natural rubber, and fillers. It can be used as a sealing material for pipeline flanges, high-pressure vessel flanges, and various mechanical connection surfaces. According to formula, performance, and usage, it can be divided into high-pressure/medium pressure/low-pressure normal type, oil resistant type, acid & alkali resistant type, and insulation type.
In order to pursue higher work intensity, asbestos rubber sheets can be reinforced with wire mesh, and the surface can be coated with graphite.

Material: 
It is made by pressing high-quality medium length asbestos fiber and rubber as the main raw materials.

Usage:
 Gaskets of various shapes and sizes are usually punched according to requirements. Suitable for sealing gasket materials at flange connections of equipment pipelines in high-temperature and high-pressure media such as water, saturated steam, superheated steam, gas, inert gas, oil , acid & alkali etc.General Purpose asbestos rubber sheet is a common material used for mechanical seals in non oil and non acid environments.
